The 2026 Toyota RAV4 Comes in Style
The redesigned 2026 Toyota RAV4 offers a choice of three bold design themes (Core, Rugged, and Sport) spread across seven grades. Additionally, the Woodland trim and the first-ever U.S. RAV4 GR SPORT model is sporting a brand-new look. Check it out below!

- Core: The Clermont Toyota trims in this model sport a sleek, modern appearance with a paint-matched grille and Toyota’s signature hammerhead front end. Also, the Core line includes LE, XLE, and Limited grades. It offers style and utility with a chiseled body and options for 17-, 18-, or 20-inch wheels.
- Rugged: The Clermont Toyota Woodland Edition is the only trim in the rugged section. The Woodland Edition sports a raised ride height, all-terrain tires, a split black grille with LED lighting, roof rails, and a rear activity mount. Also, it comes standard with all-wheel drive and is available in hybrid electric vehicles or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.
- Sport: What Toyota of Clermont is really excited about is the RAV4 GR SPORT. It’s designed with Toyota GAZOO Racing to deliver a need for speed and aggressive styling. It offers a GR-tuned suspension, power steering, enhanced body rigidity, summer tires on exclusive 20-inch wheels, and a GR Functional MATRIX grille with wing-type spoilers. In addition, the GR SPORT models come exclusively with the PHEV powertrain and AWD.
Hybrid & Plug-in Hybrid Offered This Year
The 2026 Toyota RAV4 offers electrified options with Clermont Toyota hybrid and plug-in hybrids!
- Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV): The 2026 Toyota RAV4 hybrid sits on the fifth-generation hybrid system with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine paired with an improved hybrid transaxle, power control unit, and battery. This system has up to 236 combined horsepower on AWD models and up to 226 horsepower on FWD variants. It improves fuel efficiency, responsiveness, and driving dynamics.
- Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV): The 2026 Toyota RAV4 debuts a new sixth-generation PHEV powertrain that punches up to 320 combined horsepower! The plug-in hybrid features a high-capacity traction battery and silicon carbide semiconductors that boost efficiency and miniaturize the front axle electric motor. Also, there’s a 20% increase in all-electric range to an estimated 50 miles. Clermont Toyota PHEV models come standard with AWD, and higher trims like the Woodland and XSE offer DC fast charging. This can replenish the battery from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes!
Enhanced Towing Capacity & Versatility
The 2026 RAV4 also offers more trims than ever this year! Certain trims can tow up to 3,500 pounds (boats, trailers, and other gear). Also, all FWD models and the LE AWD trim offer a towing capacity of 1,750 pounds.
The 2026 Toyota RAV4 is Redesigned Inside and Out
This new SUV is built on Toyota’s New Generation Architecture-K (TNGA-K) platform. The RAV4 has reinforced frame joints and suspension mounts for better structural rigidity. This means you’ll have improved handling and ride comfort, while high-damping adhesives help reduce vibrations and road noise. Say hello to a super quiet cabin!
Additionally, the Clermont Toyota SUV is updated on the exterior, too! This SUV sports large wheels, an elevated stance, and a spacious cargo area. All models sport a hammerhead front-end design accented by chiseled body panels and wide fender flares for a bold stance. Plus, LED taillights offer a modern touch that visually widens the rear aesthetically.
When you sit in the driver’s seat, it offers function and comfort. There’s a touchscreen display, while the center console includes a two-way closure armrest/storage bin and a removable cup holder divider. Some trims introduce a futuristic shift-by-wire system with a minimalist toggle switch for intuitive gear selection.

Interior Comfort and Style Options
The 2026 Toyota RAV4 offers multiple seating materials and special colors for each trim. The 2026 Toyota RAV4 Woodland interior sports Mineral-colored SofTex seating, perforated soft-touch door and dash panels with unique patterns, red-orange accents, and branded all-weather floor and cargo mats. The Sport trims feature BRIN•NAUB® microsuede and SofTex-trimmed seats with colorful accents. Also, there are sporty touches like GR logos, paddle shifters, and aluminum sport pedals in the GR SPORT.
The Urban Rock (exclusive to Woodland) is a brand-new color. Plus, there’s Meteor Shower, Everest, Storm Cloud, Ice Cap, Wind Chill Pearl, Midnight Black Metallic, Ruby Flare Pearl, and Blueprint. Two-tone paint options are still available on select models, such as Meteor Shower with a black roof on the XSE and Supersonic Red with a black roof exclusive to the GR SPORT.

Safety in the 2026 Toyota RAV4
Finally, we’re introducing a brand new software system: Toyota’s Arene software development platform, marking a major step toward fully software-defined vehicles. This was developed by Woven by Toyota! Arene provides a robust foundation for advanced safety, security, and connectivity features.
The 2026 Toyota RAV4 also debuts a new Toyota Audio Multimedia system built on Arene, featuring:
- Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility
- Simultaneous dual Bluetooth® phone connections
- The home button is accessible in native mode and while using smartphone integration
- Improved native voice assistant with faster response times
- Map and navigation integration directly in the digital gauge cluster
Plus, all grades have a customizable 12.3-inch display. And, the touchscreen infotainment is offered in a slim 10.5-inch standard or available 12.9-inch version for a modern cockpit feel. Bigger screen sizes than ever before!
Now, for the bread and butter of this Clermont Toyota. The 2026 Toyota RAV4 is the first Toyota model to receive Toyota Safety Sense 4.0. This is powered by the Arene platform. More details on Toyota Safety Sense 4.0 will be shared closer to the vehicle’s launch.
