If there’s been one Toyota model that has been incredibly anticipated this year, it’s definitely the Toyota Tundra. Having been sitting in a design generation that’s lasted longer than One Direction’s time as a group (that’s facts), many hoped and prayed for a much needed refresh. Well, Toyota fam, looks like our cries have been heard. It’s been heavily speculated and rumored, but now we have official confirmation that the Tundra is kicking things up a notch. Toyota released an official first look and, well, let’s just say there’s a lot to be excited about.
Toyota of Clermont is here to break down the official look and catch you up to speed on the specifics. Let’s check it out!

Wait No Longer. The Toyota Tundra is Here!
With the first look of the Clermont Tundra here, we can’t help but be excited! The refreshed look alone has us so giddy we forget that there’s still more to reveal with this story. So, before we catch you up on what might be coming for the new Toyota Tundra, let’s start with what we can see here and what we know for certain.
What we Know so Far
- The Clermont Toyota Tundra will be entering a new design generation that features a totally upgraded exterior style. The front end is more aggressive, larger, and very embossed. It features new headlights, an LED light bar just below the “TUNDRA” name. The photo released by Toyota shows a short bed design with more body lines and a boxy shape. The wheel weld arches also features a new trim feature we weren’t expecting. This is all new!
- As for the engine, we know that it’ll be the first of a new era for the iForce line. It will be called the iForce MAX, that we know for sure.

What we Don’t Know for Sure
- There’s still quite a lot that’s speculative surrounding the Clermont Toyota Tundra. One thing, the engine and drivetrain. Many industry journalism outlets have honed in on the inclusion of a V6 engine of some type. It’s also been speculated that the Tundra could see a hybrid drivetrain included for the new model year.
- We don’t know what the interior looks like just yet. Our guess here at Toyota of Clermont is that the Tundra will be getting several luxurious touches along with new upholstery that could change depending on trim grade. Toyota also published a press release detailing their next generation of infotainment system. Will this system make its way into the new Toyota Tundra? Hard to say until we know more.
- How many trim grades can we expect to see? Typically, Toyota includes a wide variety of trim grades for the Tacoma and Tundra and likely will do the same this time around. Judging from the photo we can likely expect a TRD version. As for the rest, we’ll have to wait and see!
The new Toyota Tundra is coming to Toyota of Clermont very soon and we’re incredibly excited to experience it with you!
