2025 Toyota Camry

Why the 2025 Toyota Camry has a new engine?

The 2025 Toyota Camry is on its ninth generation with many successful previous generations. The best-selling sedan in the U.S. gets even more power and upgrades with the all-new 2025 Toyota Camry. Toyota of Clermont is excited to share one of the biggest news the Camry has seen for a while. Let’s get into it. What’s new on the 2025 Toyota Camry Now being assembled in the U.S., the biggest news on the 2025 Toyota Camry is it’s coming exclusively equipped with a standard 5th-generation Toyota Hybrid System. So, yes that means every 2025 Camry will be a hybrid. It will also be available in FWD and AWD with a new re-engineered suspension and braking system that makes the already reliable Clermont Toyota Camry an even more balanced driving experience. Let’s check out some of the other highlights released by Toyota: All-new Safety Features: Toyota is always doing everything they can to give only the best to their customers. The safety will elevate with the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 standard across all of the trim levels. The Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is packed with so many safety features and isn’t an additional cost, which is nice. You can also look forward to a standard blind spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, which this model will be available in Clermont, Florida. Refresh on the performance features: We know that the 2025 Toyota Camrys will be slaying with a hybrid engine, however, what does that mean about the performance of this best-selling sedan? It looks like the powerful hybrid system will get up to a 30 HP increase with 232 net-combined horsepower on the AWD model. Toyota also announced that for the first time, the 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid will come available with electronic on-demand all-wheel drive for all trim levels. & More features to look forward to: Adds slim LED headlights, daytime running lights and taillights Gets a hammerhead front fascia Enjoy an increase in cushion length achieved by Toyota engineers for a more comfortable seating arrangement in this Clermont Toyota. The 2025 Toyota Camry comes with a standard smart key with a push-to-start button, and a dual-zone automatic climate control system with rear air vents. Enjoy the Toyota Audio Multimedia System includes a standard 8-inch touchscreen display or an available 12.3-inch screen that includes dual wireless connectivity. Gets standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a standard Qi wireless charging pad. Why are we excited about the Standard Hybrid 2025 Toyota Camry? Don’t worry, you don’t have to plug your 2025 Toyota Camry hybrid in anywhere. Hybrids are easy. Hybrid batteries simply run off of regenerative braking, so every time you brake you charge your engine. Toyota has had Hybrids on the Camry lineup since 2006, and they were great then. So, with the re-engineered suspension and braking system, we are looking forward to the 2025 Toyota Camry to embody that reliability we all love. There are several perks of driving a hybrid: For one thing, they allow you to save money by getting better miles per gallon, in return they also emit fewer greenhouse gasses. Don’t worry about the range anxiety that comes with EVs or the learning curve that comes with owning an EV. Enjoy a quiet-sounding engine that still embraces the power you want. You don’t have to plug in hybrids to charge, they charge through regenerative braking. People get confused with plug-in hybrids like the RAV4 Prime or Prius Prime which can run off both a hybrid engine and an electric engine. If you are worried about the cost of replacing your hybrid battery, the good news is that Toyota come with a hybrid battery warranty of 10 years or 150,000 miles whichever comes first. They also are way more affordable to replace. Get Your Clermont Toyota Camry today! What are you waiting for? Here at Toyota of Clermont, it’s super easy to customize the Clermont Toyota you want. Tundra Double Cab in Clermont, FL

A Guide To The Different Toyota Truck Cab Sizes

Toyota has two trucks in America: the mid-size truck the Toyota Tacoma and the full-sized Toyota Tundra. Toyota has completely revived both of these trucks with recent redesigns, refreshing these models in every possible way including the Toyota Truck cab size. Toyota of Clermont experts are going over the different types of Toyota Truck cab sizes available to unpack which one best fits your driving needs. What You Need To Know About 2024 Tundra and 2024 Tacoma Toyota Truck Cab Size If you are deciding between a mid-size truck like the 2024 Tacoma or a full-size truck like the Toyota Tundra you might be deciding based on a couple of factors one being the cab size.  The cab size is an important factor is because it will determine how much you can fit inside your truck vs outside on the bed of your truck. The cab size allows you to shorten the bed size, as well as lengthen it. Luckily, Toyota has some of the most reliable trucks on the market, and with the versatility, you can find what you are looking for as long as you know what you want. Let’s get into both of these models. What are the options for the two Toyota Truck models? Tundra cabs: Double Cab and CrewMax Cab with the options of 5.5, and 6.5 beds. Tacoma cabs: Double (existing cab size) and an all-new Xtra with options of a 6 ft bed and 5 ft bed. The previous access Cab size was removed for the 2024 Toyota Tacoma. Everything you need to know about 2024 Tundra Cabs The Toyota Tundra is the perfect truck for towing large hauls whether it’s for work or your off-roading leisure activities. This Clermont Toyota Truck is made for a challenge. There are so many different trim options on the 2024 Toyota Tundra lineup, so it will be easy to pick out exactly what you need. Let’s check out the two different Toyota Truck cab sizes for this model. Double Cab on the Toyota Tundra Fits up to five passengers with a spacious interior with two rows of seating and four doors. The best option if you are looking for extra hauling capabilities with a longer bed. The bed is over 8 feet long and perfectly built for your next large tow haul load. The CrewMax Cab on the Toyota Tundra Fits up to five passengers as well with a spacious interior with two rows of seating and four doors. It gives you more legroom and shoulder room with a wider cabin space. The bed options aren’t as long as the Double Cab, but if you are looking more for the interior space, this is the one for you. Everything you need to know about 2024 Tacoma cabs The new redesign of the 2024 Toyota Tacoma is underway and we are so excited for it to arrive at our dealership in Clermont, Florida. Toyota steps up with this redesign (like they always do) with a new engine, a revamped interior and exterior, and a new cab. Toyota announced a new TRD Performance Package Power-Up Option for the Toyota Tundra at SEMA. The package includes a boost in performance with an increase of hp to 421 and torque to 479 lb-ft. It doesn’t stop there, enjoy an increase in airflow to the turbochargers, special badging, and custom exhaust tips. Let’s get into each of the Toyota Concept Cars Displayed at SEMA Welcome the Retro Cruiser, a throwback Toyota Land Cruiser Toyota has brought back the 2024 Land Cruiser, and if you didn’t know that, now you know. So, it only makes sense that since it’s out of its hiatus what better way to celebrate than with a Retro Cruiser? This concept car is built on the ROD Millen Group’s 1967 FJ45 Land Cruiser Wagon. Let’s get into some of the features of this retro bad boy at SEMA 2023. The Retro Cruiser gets a longer frame, a modified body, and an upgraded suspension system for tough terrains. It gets 25” General Tire Grabbers, custom skid plates, and a widened front track. To bring it back to the classic retro cruiser it gets a 100 Series Land Cruiser’s V8 engine, four-speed automatic transmission, and a stainless steel custom exhaust. But the interior had some interesting features added like a satellite phone, navigation, and a 15-gallon onboard water supply. Sounds like a car that you would drive in Jurassic Park. GR86 Cup Car on Display at SEMA 2023 It wouldn’t be a true SEMA without Toyota Gazoo Racing showcasing a concept car. This year the North America’s Toyota GR Cup Race series wrapped up its 2023 season perfectly in time for a GR86 Cup Car displayed with custom bodywork, carbon rear fiber wing, TRGNA-designed splitter, and interior roll cage. You could take this concept car on a whole lot of tough terrains with these features: Gets 725 Horsepower, a 3-speed race-built transmission, a solid axle, and a transfer case that would allow the FJ Bruiser with four 2WD speeds and four 4WD speeds. Instead of skid plates, it gets a tank-like track system, with a tube chassis and roll cage mounted on a rigid custom frame. Toyota Tacoma X-Runner Concept Takes the Stage Toyota was all about the throwbacks this year and we are not mad about it. The Toyota Tacoma X-Runner is a Tacoma model that was highly popular back in the day. It’s rocking a street truck style and the features make us hope that Toyota brings this one back. Let’s check out some of the features showcased at SEMA 2023. A modified 3.4L twin-turbo V6 with 421 horsepower and 479 lb-ft torque A Tundra solid axle Electronic locking differential A custom side exhaust Will these concept cars be brought to life? Although, we don’t know for sure if any of these concept cars will be brought to life, there is hope that they truly could. Toyota took the concept car the Trailhunter to life as a Tacoma trim you can buy. Since we are going down memory lane, can Toyota please bring us the Toyota Tacoma Camper named, the Tacozilla? First Speeding ticket in Florida

What To Do If You Get A Speeding Ticket in Florida? Experts Answer.

Uh oh – you got your first speeding ticket. You may not know what to do if you get a speeding ticket in Florida. First, remind yourself to breathe, you aren’t the first person to get a speeding ticket and you most likely won’t be the last. However, Toyota of Clermont experts are here to help you so this first speeding ticket doesn’t backfire later on. Let’s get into it. When was the first speeding ticket written and why? We can all thank Walter Arnold for getting the first speeding ticket ever written, although he definitely wouldn’t be the last. He was going way too fast for his time at a whopping 8 MPH, how dare he pass the 2 MPH speed limit. However, don’t be too startled, those were different times. What to do if you get a speeding ticket in Florida? Ok, so unfortunately you have a speeding ticket, Thankfully, it’s not the first speeding ticket ever written. So, now you are wondering, “What do I do now?”. Well, there are a couple of important factors to consider. According to the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, in the State of Florida traffic violations related to lost points against your driver's license, lead to possible suspension of your license privileges. Next, let’s take a look at the duration of suspension for each point accumulation: 12 points within 12 months can lead to a 30-day suspension 18 points within 18 months can lead to a three-month suspension 24 points within 36 months can lead to a one-year suspension The amount of points deduced from receiving a speeding ticket is 3 points. However, there are three different ways to handle your speeding ticket in Florida. Let’s take a look at each option. Your Best options in Handling a Speeding Ticket #1 Attend Traffic School First, the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles regulates a Certified Basic Driver improvement course that takes around four hours to complete and costs a fee. This allows you to avoid incurring the points added to your driving record and can help with future incidents. HOWEVER, You must complete this course within 60 days of receiving your speeding ticket, and you are only allowed to take advantage of this once in 12 months and five times in your life. #2 Pay the Fine and Move On Next, you can decide to just pay the fee associated with the first speeding ticket, but these fees can be expensive, depending on how fast you are driving against the speed limit. The negative points will be added to your driving record, but if you already used your Traffic School course within the year, this might be the easiest option (unless you want to fight the ticket). However, if you can, it's best to attend traffic school because the points on your driving record can lead you to higher insurance rates. Also, accumulating too many points can even suspend your driver's license. #3 Hire a Lawyer and Fight the Ticket Lastly, you can always fight the first speeding ticket by either showing up yourself at the elected time or hiring an experienced Florida traffic ticket attorney to show up and defend your case. They may be able to reduce your charges, reduce the amount of points on your record, or even dismiss your case. It may cost more upfront, but in the long run, it could help your driving record and future headaches. Safe driving tips to AVOID getting pulled over! Step #1 Follow Traffic Laws and Regulations by utilizing Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to help you track the changing speed limits. Step #2 Maintain your Clermont Toyota and make sure your lights are working properly, tires have good tread, and more! Silly Tickets can be caused by the downfall of neglecting your routine maintenance. Step #3 Be aware of your surroundings and be mindful of the speed-limit reductions, school zones, construction zones, etc. Toyota of Clermont has answers to all of your safe driving questions So, you have more questions? We’ve always got answers straight from the experts. Call Toyota of Clermont today at (352) 404-7000 or follow us on social media for more safe driving tips!

Toyota electric vehicles in Clermont, FL

Toyota Electric Vehicles Join Forces With Tesla For This Announcement

EV owners all over can sigh relief because Toyota has just announced that Telsa has agreed to adopt the North American Charging Standard on its battery electric vehicles. This will begin for the 2025 Toyota models. This is huge news to Toyota fans who are looking to switch over to an Electric Vehicle. Of course, this brings a lot of questions to people who may not be completely familiar with why this is such relieving news in the automotive world. Don’t worry, our experts here at Toyota of Clermont are here to clear all of your questions like how to charge your EV, EV charging time, and more! So, let’s make sense of this announcement. Why is this announcement important to the automotive industry? Over the last couple of years, there has been a push towards building more charging stations to support Toyota's electric vehicles on the road. So, by Toyota adopting the Telsa Charging port it eliminates frustrations with choosing the right station for your EV. Toyota is no stranger to EVs, furthermore, Toyota Electric vehicles are on the lineup right now from plug-in hybrids to the fully electric bZ4x. As equally important, Toyota plans on having an electrified vehicle option available for every Toyota and Lexus model globally by 2025. So, t he transition towards EVs is a gradual one because it requires buyers to have the means to make that transition worth it. You know Toyota, they are all about reliability. How to charge your EV? It’s important to know that EV charging time comes in many different forms. It’s not as simple as just plugging it into a wall outlet. There are three different types of EV chargers and you may find them at different locations, as well as each one of them requires different charging times. So, let's check out which one charges the fastest! The 3 Types of EV Chargers and Charging Times Level 1: Basic Charger 120-volt Can charge anywhere with a household 3-prong outlet Estimated charging time: 40-50 hours depending on the Clermont Toyota model. If you don't have enough time, this may increase your EV range anxiety Typically somewhere within the house Level 2: Most Common Charger 240-volt Need home installation by a licensed electrician, which can cost in the thousands. Estimated charging time: 4-10 hours depending on your Clermont Toyota model Typically found in your home, workplace, and public Level 3: Fastest Charger DC fast charging Only available in public charging stations. Check out where the nearest EV charging stations are in Clermont, Florida. Estimated charging time: 20 minutes - 1 hour Typically found in Public. These cost thousands and thousands of dollars to install, so definitely not one that’s worth putting in your home. Examples of a DC fast charging connector are the CCS Connector, CHAdeMO connector, and Telsa Connector (which Toyota is now implementing for 2025 Toyota electric vehicles). The Level 3 charger, also known as a DC fast charging connector is often found whenever you are driving and see a charging station. Tesla (who Toyota is partnering with) has placed their charging stations everywhere, so now Toyota electric vehicles with the new charger adaptors will be able to charge at Telsa stations. However, Toyota electric vehicles are not the only automotive brand that has adopted the charging port. Here’s a list of the other car brands doing the same: Ford, General Motors, Rivian, Volvo, Polestar, Mercedes, Nissan, Honda, Jaguar, Kia, Hyundai, Genesis, BMW, Mini, Rolls-Royce, Lexus, and Subaru. However, before you go making these changes, there are a few things we need to catch you up on, for you to get the best lift kit possible for your truck. What Are Lift Kits? A lift kit allows you to increase the ground clearance between your Tundra and the pavement. There are three main different types of lift kits: Leveling kit, suspension lift, and body lift. The purpose of a lift kit for your Clermont Toyota can vary from car owner to car owner, however, we’ll get into how you can choose which lift kit is right for you. Leveling kit Your Clermont Toyota Tundra’s front section is lower than the rear section, known as “rake”, and is designed to cause less wear on your suspension with added weight in your truck bed.
