What To Expect on the 2024 Toyota Tundra MPGs

Back in 2022, Toyota released a redesigned Toyota Tundra with a new hybrid engine. Toyota sought to engineer an engine that would give this classic truck a better fuel economy and it worked! Toyota of Clermont experts are breaking down the fuel economy of the 2024 Toyota Tundra hybrid MPG for you with an honorable mention of how to improve the fuel economy in a truck. Let’s get into it! Fuel Economy on the 2024 Toyota Tundra Engines Toyota outdid themselves with the 2024 Toyota Tundra hybrid MPGs on these new engines coming in a gasoline and hybrid engine option. Let’s understand the differences between the two engine options for the 2024 Toyota Tundra and what you can expect. The i-FORCE Twin-Turbo V6 engine If you aren’t too persuaded to purchase an electrified vehicle yet, the i-FORCE Twin-Turbo V6 engine may be your option. This drivetrain gets an impressive 389 horsepower and 479 lb-ft torque. Trucks carry a lot of weight, so that decreases the fuel economy, however, the 2024 Toyota Tundra gasoline gets up to 17 mpg in the city, 22 mpg on the highway, and 19 mpg combined. Not too bad for a full-sized truck we must say, but now let’s get into the hybrid engine option. The i-FORCE MAX Twin-Turbo V6 Hybrid Engine If you are ready to make the transition over to an electrified vehicle, a hybrid model is the perfect choice. The i-FORCE MAX Twin-Turbo hybrid engine is new to Toyota’s lineup with incredible power and improved fuel economy. It offers up to 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft torque with more power than the gasoline engine, this option steps it up. Now, let’s look into the fuel economy of the 2024 Toyota Tundra Hybrid. Expect it to get up to 18 mpg in the city, 20 mpg on the highway, and 19 mpg combined. Why is the 2024 Toyota Tundra Hybrid engine so powerful? You may be wondering what makes the hybrid engine more powerful than the gasoline engine. Well, that is all thanks to the Toyota Technology and engineering that’s infused into this mode to make the 2024 Toyota Tundra hybrid MPG even better. Toyota created a unique hybrid drivetrain than ever before in the Tundra, as well as the Sequoia and Tacoma. The Hybrid i-FORCE MAX engine combines a twin-turbo V6 and a motor generator with a clutch located within the bell housing between the engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission. The electric motor allows the power to be transferred with no stalling time on the 2024 Toyota Tundra hybrid MPG. What makes the 2024 Toyota Tundra Hybrid engine different from previous models? That’s why you may see the extra boost in power vs the standard Toyota Hybrid System we are used to on the famous Toyota Prius, which uses regenerative braking to save your gas consumption. The standard Toyota hybrid system doesn’t have an emphasis on accelerating the power in its models. Now, let’s learn How to Improve Fuel Economy in a Truck. How to improve the fuel economy in a truck Drive slowly whenever possible (we know it can be hard) Use Safety Features like Cruise Control to regulate speeds Upgrade your tires when it’s time to change out the low tread levels Keep up with routine maintenance to reduce your fuel consumption Keep out the clutter in your truck to reduce the overall weight of your Clermont Toyota Work on your driving skills to reduce unnecessary bad driving habits Plan out your driving routes before you hit the road Test Drive a 2024 Toyota Tundra at Toyota of Clermont! Toyota electric vehicles in Clermont, FL

Toyota Electric Vehicles Join Forces With Tesla For This Announcement

EV owners all over can sigh relief because Toyota has just announced that Telsa has agreed to adopt the North American Charging Standard on its battery electric vehicles. This will begin for the 2025 Toyota models. This is huge news to Toyota fans who are looking to switch over to an Electric Vehicle. Of course, this brings a lot of questions to people who may not be completely familiar with why this is such relieving news in the automotive world. Don’t worry, our experts here at Toyota of Clermont are here to clear all of your questions like how to charge your EV, EV charging time, and more! So, let’s make sense of this announcement. Why is this announcement important to the automotive industry? Over the last couple of years, there has been a push towards building more charging stations to support Toyota's electric vehicles on the road. So, by Toyota adopting the Telsa Charging port it eliminates frustrations with choosing the right station for your EV. Toyota is no stranger to EVs, furthermore, Toyota Electric vehicles are on the lineup right now from plug-in hybrids to the fully electric bZ4x. As equally important, Toyota plans on having an electrified vehicle option available for every Toyota and Lexus model globally by 2025. So, t he transition towards EVs is a gradual one because it requires buyers to have the means to make that transition worth it. You know Toyota, they are all about reliability. How to charge your EV? It’s important to know that EV charging time comes in many different forms. It’s not as simple as just plugging it into a wall outlet. There are three different types of EV chargers and you may find them at different locations, as well as each one of them requires different charging times. So, let's check out which one charges the fastest! The 3 Types of EV Chargers and Charging Times Level 1: Basic Charger 120-volt Can charge anywhere with a household 3-prong outlet Estimated charging time: 40-50 hours depending on the Clermont Toyota model. If you don't have enough time, this may increase your EV range anxiety Typically somewhere within the house Level 2: Most Common Charger 240-volt Need home installation by a licensed electrician, which can cost in the thousands. Estimated charging time: 4-10 hours depending on your Clermont Toyota model Typically found in your home, workplace, and public Level 3: Fastest Charger DC fast charging Only available in public charging stations. Check out where the nearest EV charging stations are in Clermont, Florida. Estimated charging time: 20 minutes - 1 hour Typically found in Public. These cost thousands and thousands of dollars to install, so definitely not one that’s worth putting in your home. Examples of a DC fast charging connector are the CCS Connector, CHAdeMO connector, and Telsa Connector (which Toyota is now implementing for 2025 Toyota electric vehicles). The Level 3 charger, also known as a DC fast charging connector is often found whenever you are driving and see a charging station. Tesla (who Toyota is partnering with) has placed their charging stations everywhere, so now Toyota electric vehicles with the new charger adaptors will be able to charge at Telsa stations. However, Toyota electric vehicles are not the only automotive brand that has adopted the charging port. Here’s a list of the other car brands doing the same: Ford, General Motors, Rivian, Volvo, Polestar, Mercedes, Nissan, Honda, Jaguar, Kia, Hyundai, Genesis, BMW, Mini, Rolls-Royce, Lexus, and Subaru. 2024 Toyota 4Runner in Clermont, FL

Toyota of Clermont Experts Revealing the 2024 Toyota 4Runner Preview

Car enthusiasts are patiently anticipating the 2024 Toyota 4Runner Redesign. There’s speculation that we can expect the 2024 Toyota 4Runner to be new inside and out, which will be the first complete redesign since the production for the fifth generation started in 2010. Toyota has been quite a roll when it comes to redesigns in the past couple of years with major changes on the top models like the 2024 Toyota Tacoma, Toyota Prius, Toyota Sequoia, and Toyota Tundra. However, the news on the 2024 Toyota 4Runner is still not official. However, our Toyota of Clermont experts are here to take a leap of faith into what we believe you can expect from this Toyota 4Runner Redesign 2024. What to expect from the 2024 Toyota 4Runner It’s all up in the air on what exactly the Toyota 4Runner 2024 redesign may entail. The internet has been talking about many different theories. Here’s what we have gathered so far, one of the most desired car redesigns of all time (for 4Runner fans at least, they’ve been waiting a while). What we don’t know: Let’s get the bad news out of the way first and foremost. We don’t have a release date YET, but that could change at any moment. At this moment in time, Toyota is keeping everyone on their toes. There’s also speculation from the source of the internet that Toyota may be bringing back the discontinued Land Cruiser in 2024, which would mean that the 2024 Toyota 4Runner preview back further. Everyone could agree this would be great for Land Cruiser fans, however, it comes at the price of wanting to get our hands on the wheels of the redesigned 4Runner sooner. What we can expect to changed on the model: Here are the conclusions we can come to based on the recent previous redesigns. Toyota is slowly showing a pattern. It may have a different engine. The Clermont Toyota 4Runner has a 4.0L V6 engine, however, Toyota has downsized its engines in the Toyota Tundra and Sequoia from V8s to V6s in the recent redesigns. You may be thinking, doesn't that mean less power? Actually, no. We are speculating that the Clermont Toyota 4runner 2024 redesign could be shifting to a new 4-cylinder with turbocharged capabilities. There’s one in particular on the new Lexus NX 350, the turbocharged 2.4L inline-four, which gets 275 horsepower and 317 lb-ft torque. We can foresee a brand new hybrid drivetrain like the Hybrid Max powertrain in the all-new Toyota Crown. The 2.4L Hybrid system in the Crown produces 340 horsepower and 400 lb-ft torque. When it comes to the interior, we are thinking of something new and updated from head to toe (or from roof rails to wheels) like in the Toyota Tacoma with more versatility than ever. What else we can expect from MSRP to Production Toyota is prioritizing shifting production to North America more and more. So, it’s speculated that the Toyota 4Runner production might be shifting to the States as well. If you see the MSRP has a slight increase, you are getting what you pay for in the Clermont Toyota. The upgraded tech and performance features added into these new modern redesigns do increase the overall cost of producing the car. You may be wondering if you can expect a full EV model of the 4Runner, like the bZ4X, however, we aren’t super hopeful that we will see an EV on the redesign of the 2024 Toyota 4runner in Clermont, FL Get updates on the new 2024 Toyota 4Runner through Toyota of Clermont This is what we know so far… and we’re ready for more! What we know about the 2024 Toyota Tacoma so far

It's finally here - Toyota has announced that the official unveiling of the much-anticipated 2024 Toyota Tacoma will take place on May 19. (It's at 1:30 am, so get your coffee pot prepped.) Rumors have been flying about this new Toyota truck since its redesign was announced. Will it look like the Tundra? Will it be electrified? Is the manual option going to disappear? Toyota of Clermont is here with every single bit of 2024 Toyota Tacoma information we've found so far - get ready for your test drive. Everything we know about the 2024 Toyota Tacoma Design: It's getting a full redesign - bumper to bumper. It's due; this popular Clermont Toyota truck hasn't been redesigned since 2015 and fans have been clamoring for it. The 4th generation will officially be revealed in mere weeks and we should be able to see it in person at the end of this year or the beginning of next year. Toyota has given us teaser photos; we can't really see the details of the truck, but we can see the silhouette and that stylistically, the 2024 Toyota Tacoma looks to resemble the redesigned Toyota Tundra and Sequoia. These redesigned trucks are much more muscular and angular, and we're betting the Tacoma fits right into the family. We're betting on multiple bed and cab options. Toyota released a teaser video indicating that there will be both crew and extended cabs available, as well as a long bed option. https://di-uploads-pod3.dealerinspire.com/toyotaofclermont/uploads/2023/05/Toyota-Tacoma.mp4 Performance: For the first time ever, a hybrid option will be available for the 2024 Toyota Tacoma. It'll offer a new i-Force Max engine option with enhanced horsepower and torque, as well as better fuel efficiency. We also are willing to bet a new gasoline engine will be brought into the mix. The 2022 Toyota Tundra and 2023 Toyota Sequoia both introduced a turbocharged option for their redesigns, and we think the 2024 Toyota Tacoma will follow that track. There's also a new platform in the picture. The 2024 Toyota Tacoma will feature the new TNGA-F platform, which is body-on-frame. This is huge and means that this new generation of the Clermont Toyota will be better for off-roading, towing, and handling in general. You're not losing the manual edition. Toyota released some teaser pictures featuring a gas, brake, and clutch pedal; they also confirmed that a six-speed manual transmission is a guarantee. (A lot of fans were speculating that the manual would disappear with the introduction of a hybrid or EV option.) A new special edition model is coming into the picture. The Trailhunter special edition featuring ARB parts - from what we gleaned from the teaser photo - will be perfect for overlanding, off-roading, and adventures off the pavement. Additionally, we're pretty sure that an updated and improved audio system is being introduced. We think a bigger touchscreen will be featured (the current screen is 8"). Additionally, we think that the new audio system on the 2024 Toyota Tacoma will offer wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as Toyota Connected Services. And Toyota announced that JBL will be available - this new Clermont Toyota truck is going to showcase a JBL Flex speaker that can be removed from the truck and used as a portable speaker.
