When you think of the new Toyota SUV lineup, we're willing to bet that the Toyota Sequoia doesn't exactly spring to mind. We're the first to admit that it's in need of a refresh; the second generation launched way back in 2007 (!!!) and this plush SUV hasn't undergone a redesign since then. This platform was designed to provide improved safety and ride quality. Rumor has it that the new 2023 Toyota Sequoia will also follow in the Tundra's footsteps in terms of engine. It's been sporting a 5.7L V8 for decades (literally) and we're almost positive it'll be swapping out for the two options available in the new Tundra - a twin-turbo V6 (389 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque) and an i-Force Max hybrid option (437 hp and 583 lb-ft of torque).
