Child-friendly Activities to do this Fall Season

October 11th, 2019 by

Fall is arguably the best season in Central Florida to many because the hurricane warnings have stopped, the humidity has taken a break, and the fall activities have begun! At Toyota of Clermont, we made sure you have the information on how to care for your car in the fall so that you can participate in all of these festive activities with no worries! We have a list of fall activities near Orlando that you or your kids won’t want to miss out on. Take a look at these child-friendly “fall-tivities”.

Toyota of Clermont’s Top Child-friendly Fall Activities (In no particular order)

Mickey’s Not so Scary Halloween Party

Running till November 1 in Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park, how could you pass on one of the most popular child-friendly Halloween parties in Central Florida? Join in on the fun by coming in your best costume you could offer. Fill up your pumpkin bags with a variety of goodies and snacks (your Dentist’s worst nightmare!) You can even find your favorite characters in costume themselves! Relive you childhood memories or make new ones with your kids by watching the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular hosted by the Spellbinding Sanderson Sisters!

Harvest Holler Corn Maze

Held in Polk City, FL till November 10th, your family will be able to have a cute outdoorsy experience. If you’re tired of your kids being glued to a screen, this is just the activity! They’ll be able to enjoy the fresh air, run through the corn maze, have a picnic by the pumpkin patch, enjoy a hay ride, get on a tire swing (we thought those were extinct!), and more. And did we mention they have live farm animals? Because they do! The Harvest Holler Corn Maze also has the MAWMAW Country Store where you can find homemade jams, local orange blossom honey, and more.

Brick or Treat at Legoland

If you feel that Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party may be out of your budget, this is another great choice. Of course Legoland is pretty AWESOME all year round, but for the Fall they have Brick or Treat as their special seasonal programming. Things you can expect from a day of Brick or Treating are participating in a spooky scavenger hunt, daily costume contests with valuable LEGO prize packs, and inventive seasonal building activities. And at the end of the day, you’ll be able to enjoy a spider-themed fireworks show.

Southern Hill Farms Fall Festival/ Pumpkin Patch

Another great outdoorsy experience that’ll be fun for the family. With the purchase of the unlimited play wristband, your kids will be able to enjoy face painting, the petting zoo, the rock wall (closed toed shoes requirement), and more! You can also enjoy yard games including life-sized Jenga, bean bag toss, connect four, and more. Make sure you come with an appetite because several specialty food trucks will be on the grounds. Once dusk hit, it’s the perfect time to purchase a stores kit at the shop and roast some marshmallows. If you plan on going to this Fall Festival, you’ll need to purchase the parking pass in advance on their website!

If you can’t just choose one, then choose ALL! Fall is all about enjoying the season and what better way than to explore all the aforementioned activities. For more fun activities tune in to Toyota of Clermont’s blog every other week. Happy Fall!
